Le dictionnaire encyclopédique Hachette Multimédia donne la définition du mot "gadget" comme étant un mot anglais signifiant : petit objet amusant ou original, généralement peu utile. Permettez-moi alors, je vous prie, de suggérer en guise de remplacement l'expression « utilitaire économe » qui je pense s'adapte beaucoup mieux au contexte.

Merci du commentaire mais je reste avec mon mot «gadget». Les termes « utilitaire économe » ne font pas références aux technologies, contrairement à « gadget ». Par contre, comme je suis aussi un apôtre du mieux parler français quand c'est possible, je suis toujours très ouvert aux suggestions.
