BRANCHEZ-VOUS! increased revenues by 59 % in 2000 and continues to experience growth in the first quarter of 2001

For the fiscal year ended December 31, 2000, BRANCHEZ-VOUS! Inc. publishes audited pro-forma financial statements including results from Invention Media Inc., which merged with BRANCHEZ-VOUS! Inc. on January 16, 2001. In 2000, BRANCHEZ-VOUS! had revenues of $978,698, an increase of 59% over the 1999 fiscal year. A majority of these revenues came from selling advertising space on Québec-based Internet sites. Expenses for the 2000 year were at $2,484,741, resulting in a net loss of $1,506,133 for the year, or 6 cents per share.

Financial statements for the first quarter of 2001, ending March 31, include the results of e-commerce site MicroSon.ca from February 19, 2001, the date it was acquired by BRANCHEZ-VOUS!. During the first quarter of 2001, BRANCHEZ-VOUS! had revenues of $260,259 , an increase of 13% over the first quarter of 2000. Expenses being at $563,178 for the period result in a net loss of $302,919, or 1 cent per share. Patrick Pierra, CEO of BRANCHEZ-VOUS!, noted that "between February and April 2000, we received private placements totalling $2,8 million. This capital influx allowed us, in the following months, to substantially enhance our content and services offering and to launch several new sites. We also embarked, in 2000, on a one-time advertising campaign geared toward consumers, which helped further position our company." "Despite uncertain economic conditions and evidence of weakness in the traditional advertising mediums, added Patrick Pierra, Internet advertising and e-commerce continue to grow in Quebec. We have a careful management approach and are continually monitoring our cost structure. While maintaining growth, over the coming quarters, our losses will continue to decrease. Our goal is to reach our fist profitable quarter in the final quarter of the fiscal 2001 year."
